The MHS Orchestra is hosting critically-acclaimed “The Section Quartet” on Thursday, February 9th. They are visiting MCSD to do master classes with our orchestra students and perform a concert at 7pm that evening.
The Section Quartet has appeared with numerous top recording artists of multiple genres such as Kanye West, Foo Fighters, Maroon 5, James Blunt, A Perfect Circle, John Legend, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Ryan Adams, and Dr. Dre, among others. They also arrange old and new rock music for electric string quartet. They ONLY perform rock music!
The Section Quartet will be performing in concert that evening (February 9th) at 7pm in the MHS Theater. They are absolutely incredible to watch and listen to; check out the video link below!

If you enjoy the Vitamin String Quartet, Trans Siberian Orchestra, rock music, classical music, or even just music in general, you will definitely enjoy this concert! Our high school orchestra will be opening the concert, collaborating with TSQ for a few charts, and then TSQ will be the main event.
